The coinage of the Republic of China, issued between 1912 and 1949, is examined in two
volumes, where the first examines the issues of the various provinces, while the second
examines the issues of the Central Government, of the Chinese Soviet Republics and of
the Japanese occupation.
The provinces which minted were Chekiang, Fukien, Honan, Hupeh, Kansu, Kiangsi,
Kwangtung, Kweichow, Manchurian, Shansi, Shensi, Sikang, Sinkiang (where the
Islamic Republic of East Turkestan and the Uighuristan Republic were also formed),
Suiyuan, Szechuan and Yunnan.
